Mozambique: Over 26,000 displaced last week in Cabo Delgado - IOM
Notícias
The circulation of ‘chapas’ connecting several points of Maputo and Matola returned to normal today, after a complicated Monday due to the stoppage carried out by a large number of private operators of semi-collective passenger transport.
Contrary to what was experienced yesterday, when commuters crowded, for hours without end, at the terminals and stops with no vehicles to transport them in sight, today it took them the usual time to travel from one place to another.
The normalisation of the situation will have been in response to the appeal of the Mozambican Federation of Road Transport Workers (FEMATRO), a group that brings together 33 associations of private operators throughout the country.
