Manica policeman takes his own life

Manica policeman Damião Abdul Gani took his own life last Saturday (January 7), for reasons unknown.
Police in Manica said that their colleague put the barrel of an AKM into his mouth and pulled the trigger.
The suicide took place around 5:00 a.m., during routine police work. The case occurred in the Gondola district.
Gani had been in the police force for 12 years. Apparently, the victim was well, and colleagues had not noticed anything untoward.
