The new Incomati River bridge connecting Marracuene in Maputo province with the Macaneta tourist area will be officially opened tomorrow (Wednesday).
The construction of the bridge is part of the government’s Maputo Ring Road construction project and will alleviate the previous crossing situation at that point, characterised by frequent breakdowns of the ferry barge obliging users to resort to other, less safe means.
The official inauguration program is as follows
