Mozambique: 17 Malawians arrested over illegal stay, suspected illegal logging and gold mining

A two-seater light aircraft used for training Mozambican Air Force personnel has made an emergency landing in a Maputo neighbourhood today, Friday, 28 May, an aviation authorities source has told Lusa.
According to preliminary information, the aircraft suffered minor damage and no-one was injured, said João de Abreu, president of the Civil Aviation Institute of Mozambique (IACM).
“We have a team in place,” he added.
An official source from the Mozambican Armed Forces confirmed the accident to Lusa, adding that a team had been sent to the site.
