Mozambican Airlines (LAM) schedules and connections have change since Saturday as one of the company’s aircraft is withdrawn for maintenance, the company has announced.
“Due to the scheduled withdrawal of one of its aircraft for maintenance abroad, the LAM fleet will be reduced by one unit,” a company statement reads.
The aircraft going for maintenance is one of two 93-seat Embraer 190s. The LAM fleet also includes two Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity of 132 passengers, and three 50-seat Embraer 145s.
The fleet reduction renders it necessary to make “changes in the schedules, as well as the grouping of some flights whose destinations may constitute a combined route”.
“This solution makes it possible that some routes will use aircraft different to those indicated on tickets purchased in advance,” LAM explains.
Changes are already available in the company’s media and are being communicated to passengers who have purchased tickets, it adds.
