Rwandan President Paul Kagame says the way to stop corruption is to create an environment in which people are aware of the consequences of corruption.
He’s been speaking in a panel discussion with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Kagame says people need to know what happens if they are corrupt and that in the case of Rwanda, the consequences of corruption are huge.
He also says fighting corruption is about trying to hold yourself accountable and holding others accountable.
The president was applauded strongly.
Meanwhile, Blair has said he wants to try and change the way aid organisations work.
He says they can’t be too afraid to take risks and need to think over the longer term.
