Just in: Two more Covid-19 deaths in Mozambique and another 78 confirmed cases

Mozambique reported this Wednesday (August 12) two more Covid-19 deaths., one (1) in Manica Province and one (1) in Maputo City, both of Mozambican nationality.
The country recorded, in the last 24 hours, 78 more cases of infection with the new coronavirus, thus the cumulative number of people diagnosed positive rises to 2559, of which 2,371 are local transmission and 188 imported.
Of the newly diagnosed cases , seven are from Cabo Delgado province, two from Niassa, eight from Nampula, two Zambézia, 16 from Gaza, four from Maputo province and 36 from Maputo city.
The number of people recovered rises to 951 with 41 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours.
