Just in: Three inmates killed in Nampula prison riot

The Clinical Directorate of Nampula Central Hospital has confirmed the death of three of the seven inmates who were shot this morning during rioting at the Northern Regional Penitentiary in Nampula City.
The hospital also confirms the presence of two police and/or correctional services officers among the injured. They are under observation, and some may be in critical condition.
