Most African countries will not reach SDG child mortality goal

Mozambique today (September 23) reported four more deaths due to COVID-19, in the city of Maputo. These are patients aged 20, 42, 63 and 73 years, one female and three male, of whom one is Filipino and the others are Mozambican.
The country this Wednesday reported 148 more coronavirus cases, bringing the cumulative to 7,262 people diagnosed with the disease since its beginning, of which 6,976 are local transmissions and 286 imported.
Maputo City recorded the highest number of cases (79), corresponding to 53.4% of the total cases reported today across the country, followed by Tete Province (17.6%) with 26 cases.
Mozambique today also reported another 286 cases fully recovered,, bringing to 4,350 the cumulative of recoveries.
The numbers in Mozambique regarding Covid-19 this Wednesday (September 23) are: 7,262 confirmed cases, 4,350 recoveries and 48 deaths.
