Mozambique: New case of mpox diagnosed in Maputo province

The Ministry of Health today reports another death due to COVID-19, in the city of Maputo: that of a 70-year-old Mozambican man, bringing to 44 the number of deaths in the country due to the disease.
The country this Monday (September 21) reported a further 141 coronavirus cases, bringing the cumulative to 6,912 people diagnosed with the disease since the outbreak was first detected in the country, of which 6,627 were locally transmitted and 285 imported.
Mozambique reported 116 more cases altogether, bringing the cumulative number of recoveries to 3,738 .
