Mozambican university wants to learn from China's industrial policies

Mozambique recorded 93 more cases of infection with the new coronavirus, bringing to 2,213 the cumulative number of cases so far confirmed in the country, announced the Ministry of Health (MISAU) on Friday (August 7).
1,392 tests were performed in the country in the last 24 hours. Of the new suspected cases tested, 1,298 came back negative and 93 tested positive for COVID-19.
Of the 93 newly diagnosed cases, the highest number ever recorded in 24 hours, 14 are from Cabo Delgado province, seven from Nampula province, 30 from Gaza province, 25 from Maputo province and 17 from Maputo city.
The cases reported today are in isolation at home. The process of mapping their contacts is currently underway.
Mozambique currently has a cumulative of 52 individuals hospitalised due to COVID-19, of whom thirteen (13) are under medical care in isolation centres, distributed as follows: two (2) in Nampula province, four (4) in Sofala province, and seven (7)in Maputo city. The hospitalised individuals suffer from several chronic pathologies, associated with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, from Thursday to Friday, the country recorded 32 cases of patients who have fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the cumulative number of reveries to 827.
Therefore, Mozambique currently has 1,308 active cases of COVID-19, geographically distributed as follows:
Of the 2,213 positive cases recorded until this Friday, 2,031 are of local transmission and 182 are imported.
