Mozambique: National Institute of Health to receive CDC support for the acquisition of equipment
Mozambique reported yet another Covid-19 death today, that of a 78-year-old Mozambican man, in Maputo city, the Ministry of Health announced in a statement this Wednesday (October 7).
The country also reported a further 96 confirmed cases of coronavirus, increasing the cumulative to 9,494 people diagnosed with the disease since its beginning, with 9,196 locally transmitted and 298 imported.
Maputo City recorded the largest number of cases: 58, corresponding to 60.4% of the total cases reported today across the country, It is followed by the Province of Zambézia, with 11 cases (5.%) each.
The Ministry of Heath announced 454 more cases fully recovered, bringing the cumulative of recoveries to 6,812.
