Just in: Mozambique extends most Covid restrictions, resumes face-to-face classes – Watch

President , Filipe Jacinto Nyusi has just announced in an address to the nation this evening, the resumption of face-to-face classes at all educational institutions, starting next Monday.

Face-to-face classes in all levels of education will resume, said the President.

Training for teams playing in Moçambola, the Mozambican football championship, will also resume.

Compliance with the mandatory use of masks will be reinforced.

The measures already in force [which include the mandatory curfew for the Greater Maputo area] will be extended for a period of 30 more days, starting on March 7.
