Just in: Helena Taipo may have been detained – report

The former Labour Minister, Governor of Sofala province and Mozambican Ambassador to Angola Helena Taipo, has just been taken in a SERNIC car, which drove off at high speed, leaving the Central Office for the Fight against Corruption. (GCCC) in Maputo.
Everything indicates that the former minister has been detained. Her lawyer, Inácio Matsinhe, has declined to speak to the press.
Helena Taipo is accused of having allegedly diverted about 100 million meticais from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
