JUST IN: Galp maintains gas investment in Mozambique, reports on its exit are based on false statement

A false statement released this Thursday morning reported that the oil company GALP had abandonedterminated the gas exploration project in Cabo Delgado.

The company guarantees that it was not the author of the statement.

Contrary to the false press release, Galp Energia will not sell its stake in the new gas exploration projects in Cabo Delgado, due to the climate of instability, terrorist violence and corruption in Mozambique.
