Shortly after 7 pm on Thursday, four armed and masked men approached the son of local businessman Nathoobai, on the terrace of a restaurant, in the centre of Quelimane.
A witness said that the four men “arrived and threatened the young man, known as Michel, having taken him to an uncertain place. The situation was dire, as they were armed and masked. The customers didn’t know what to do ”.
The source also said that the individuals took the cell phones of some of the customers there and left with the young man. Shortly after, the police arrived at the scene.
Some people close to the young man went to the first police station to seek intervention on the fact.
