Mozambique: Sasol breaks ground on new water supply system in Govuro

The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases today (June 18) rose from 651 to 662.
In the last 24 hours, 766 new suspected cases were tested in the country, of which 11 came back positive.
Ten (10) of the new cases reported today are of Mozambican nationality and one (01) is of foreign nationality but is of a resident in the country.
According to the national director of Public Health, Rosa Marlene, of the 11 new cases, seven (07) are male and four (04) female, and all are in isolation at home.
The country also recorded, in the last 24 hours, six more cases fully recovered, totalling 175. Of the six new recoveries three are from Cabo Delgado and three are from Maputo City. Of these, four are male and two female.
The country has, as of this Friday, 482 active cases, distributed as follows: Cabo Delgado province-101; Niassa province-8; Nampula province-205; Zambezia province-4; Tete province-13; Manica province-16; Sofala province-12; Inhambane rovince-15; Gaza province-1; Maputo Province-40 and Maputo City-67.
