Mozambique: Health Ministry hopes to vaccinate 18 million children against polio

The Mozambican health authorities have diagnosed a further 17 cases of the Covid-19 respiratory disease, bringing the total number of cases detected in the country since the start of the pandemic to 489.
Between Wednesday (10) and Thursday (11) 491 tests were performed in the country.
The newly diagnosed cases are in Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Inhambane and Gaza provinces.
According to the Ministry of Health (MISAU), the country has, in the last 24 hours, registered yet six more fully recovered cases , all of Mozambican nationality.
As of today. Thursday June 11, Mozambique’s key Covid-19 data were: 489 confirmed cases, of which 144 have made a full recovery and 345 are considered active cases. Three Covid-19 patients have died, two from the disease and the third from an unrelated cause.
