Four more suspected cases tested positive in Mozambique, from Saturday to Sunday (May 10), rising the number of cumulative confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country to 91.
In the last 24 hours, 174 suspected cases were tested at the National Health Institute, in Marracuene district, Maputo province and four tests came back positive.
The number of recovered cases in the country remains at 34, with no deaths.
So far, 3,923 suspected cases have been tested in Mozambique.

Meanwhile,on Saturday (May 9) the Ministry of Health (MISAU) had announced five more cases of infection by COVID-19 in confirmed in the previous 24 hours . Minister of Health Armindo Tiago said at Saturday’s pres briefing that the five diagnosed cases were from the Afungi camp, in Cabo Delgado. Of the positive cases announced yesterday, one is a Mozambican citizen , one a Kenyan, one is a South African and two are Britons.
Minister Tiago yesterday highlighted the seven new recoveries registered, increasing to 34 the number of patients who have fully recovered .
The province of Cabo Delgado now has 16 recovered cases, the City of Maputo has 13 and the Province of Maputo five.
Between Friday and Saturday, 393 tests had been performed at the Reference Laboratory of the National Institute of Health (INS), Of these, the INS highlighted 267 samples from the province of Maputo, from Mozambican citizens recently arrived from neighbouring South Africa, 112 from Cabo Delgado and 13 from the city of Maputo.
