Portuguese experts train 252 Mozambican doctors in diabetes diagnosis, treatment

Another 26 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of people infected with the new coronavirus in Mozambique s to 609, the Ministry of Health announced today (June 14).
From Sunday to Monday, 961 suspected cases were tested in the country.
The newly diagnosed cases are from Maputo City and Cabo Delgado, Nampula and Maputo provinces.

The National Director of Public Health, Rosa Marlene, also said that the country registered, in the last 24 hours, six more cases of fully recovered patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 157.
To date, the country has recorded three deaths from COVID-19 and one from other diseases.
The third death occurred in Nampula, the second province with the highest number (179) of cases. The victim was in isolation and lost his life four days after receiving the test results.
