Just in: Covid-19 | President maintains restrictions for 30 more days, with some exceptions – Watch

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has just announced the government’s decision to maintain all Covid-19 restrictive measures previously approved for a period of another 30 days..

Face-to-face classes are still suspended in all education subsystems in the country, however, the President of the Republic exceptionally authorised in-person exams, as from Monday(August 16, in strict compliance with COVID-19 prevention measures .

Filipe Nyusi also announced the suspension of face-to-face classes in all teaching subsystems in the cities of Vilankulo, and Maxixe and in the town of Massinga.

Measures take effect at 0h00m, August 16.
