Just in: COVID-19 cases near 4000 mark in Mozambique

Another 95 people tested positive for Covid-19 n the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cumulative cases to 3,916 in Mozambique, the Ministry of Health announced this Monday (August 31).
Of the newly diagnosed cases, 30 are from the city of Maputo, 54 from Maputo province, two from Gaza province, one from Inhambane, two from Sofala, four from Nampula, one from Niassa and one (01) case fromCabo Delgado province.
In the last 24 hours, the country registered another 70 patients who have fully recovered from the disease, bringg the cumulative number of recoveries to 2.170.
The country has so far registered 23 deaths due to Covid-19. The country has 1,719 active cases.
