Mozambique: Rainy season death toll rises to 313

The bridge over the Rovubue river between the cities of Tete and Moatize partially collapsed this morning.
The damage was caused by a strong current, swollen by the high rainfall registered in the centre of Mozambique in the wake of Tropical Storm Ana.

Many people have been displaced by heavy rains and strong winds in southern Malawi.
