Japan’s Mitsui has invested more than US$1 billion in Mozambique

The speaker of the Mozambican Parliament Verónica Macamo received yesterday in her office the representatives of the Business Friendship Association. An association of Japanese entrepreneurs who have interests to invest in Mozambique.
The group is led by the Mitsui company that has invested more than US$1 billion s in the country since it first started its presence here.
According to Macamo these investments are of the utmost importance for the development of the country.
The meeting between the parties served as a preparation for the meeting between the association’s directorate-general and Mozambican MPs, due to take place in the first week of February in Japan, .
