Mozambique: Special Holiday for the City of Beira
Japanese government through its Agency for International Corporation signed on Friday in Maputo an agreement for funding the rehabilitation of 3 bridges in northern Mozambique.
The agreement signed with the country’s deputy minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Janet Mondlane, is estimated at 31 million US dollars and will be given to Mozambique as a grant fund to rebuild the 3 bridges destroyed by floods in northern province of Cabo Delgado.
“The project will promote the development of the country road grid between the central and northern regions of Mozambique through the reconstruction of targeted bridges,” said Janet Mondlane.
