The president’s wife, Isaura Nyusi, is calling on all mothers and caregivers to bring their children to the Health Week vaccination campaign that starts today nationwide.
Isaura Nyusi was speaking in Lichinga, Niassa province, where she will host the main ceremonies for the launch of the measles and rubella vaccination week.
In addition to launching the vaccination week, the First Lady will interact with HIV prevention activists and visit literacy and agricultural production centres.
Isaura Nyusi spoke to the press moments after landing at the Lichinga airfield yesterday at the start of a five-day working visit to Niassa.
She is accompanied by Minister of Health Nazira Abdula and staff of the Office of the First Lady.
