Mozambique: Insurance sector generated more than €300 million in 2024

About 7.5 million meticais [US$107,000 at current exchange rates ] is being invested in a project to mitigate climate change in the district of Inhassoro, Inhambane province.
The Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries initiative includes the construction of four deep-draft vessels allowing local fishermen to gain access to the high seas in the exercise of their activities.
Visiting the shipyard this Saturday, Deputy Minister Henriques Bongece professed himself satisfied with the pace of the undertaking.
Fish is starting to become scarce as a result of climate change and greater pressure on coastal waters.
