Infant cereal on sale at promotional prices in Greater Maputo poses no risk – INAE

Tomás Timba, Director of Operations for the Commerce and Transportation Industry at the National Inspectorate of Economic Activities (INAE), confirms that the infant cereal sold at promotional prices in the Greater Maputo region is safe for consumption.
“We are working with the representative for this cereal, and the data we have shows no reports of hospitalizations or poisoning due to this. It’s just batches expiring in the next three months that are being expedited, which is the reason for the price reduction,” he explained.
