The government has authorised industries that produce essential products to keep on workforces in excess of the State of Emergency one-third limit, provided a reasoned request is submitted to the ministers overseeing the areas of Labour and Trade and Industry, TVM reports.
The Council of Ministers yesterday also adopted remote ‘proof of life’ tests for state officials and agents for the duration of the current state of emergency.
The attacks in Cabo Delgado were also among the issues discussed in the ministerial council session.
