Indefinite truce in Mozambique “a very welcome development” – EU

The European Union issues the following declaration in agreement with the EU Heads of Mission in Mozambique
Today’s declaration of an indefinite truce between the Government and Renamo is a very welcome development. It shows the growing trust between the parties and helps to provide for a conducive environment for pursuing the peace talks towards a sustainable political solution.
