Mozambique: 15 killed by wild animals in Mágoè National Park

The Mozambique National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) predicts strong winds, with speeds up to 70 kilometres per hour, from the night of this Tuesday to Wednesday in the provinces of Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo.
In Maputo province, bad weather could affect the districts of Matutuine, Boane, Namaacha, Marracuene, Manhiça and Maputo and Matola Cities, while in Gaza it is expected to affect the districts of Bilene, Mandlakazi, Chókwè, Guijá, Chibuto and Xai-xai City .
A statement from INAM indicates that bad weather could also affect the districts of Zavala, Inharrime, Jangamo, Homoine and the cities of Inhambane and Maxixe, in Inhambane province.
INAM calls for precautionary and safety measures in view of the risks associated with the coming storm, such as finding safe haven away from trees, taking shelter indoors with closed windows and being careful with the risks associated to fallen trees and damages or rupture in the public power grid.
