The National Inspectorate of Economic Activities (INAE) in Zambézia has ordered the closure of a small factory of ‘freezes,’ as are commonly known the ice sweets sold inside plastic bags, located on Libertação Nacional Avenue in Quelimane.
The INAE’s Zambezia representative, Lourenço Jaime, said the closure had to do with lack of hygiene in the establishment, which did not meet the standards required to produce and distribute frozen desserts and constituted a public health risk.
The INAE in Zambézia has determined that the establishment should remain closed until the situation is regularised.
