.This registration must be completed exclusively through the official platform: www.evisa.gov.mz
Applicable fee
Registration is subject to a fee of 650 Meticais (MZN) or the equivalent in legally accepted foreign currency in Mozambique.
This fee is mandatory, even when no formal visa is required, as the registration constitutes a legal pre-travel notification.
Strict compliance & implications
It is important to emphasize that strict compliance with this requirement is expected from all affected travellers.
Failure to register in advance and pay the required fee will, under current legislation, be considered an implicit refusal of entry into the national territory. This may result in the traveller being denied boarding at origin or entry upon arrival in Mozambique
Recommendations:
– Proof of accommodation, return ticket, and evidence of means of subsistence (for tourism purposes);
– Invitation letter from the host entity, return ticket, and financial proof (for business purposes);
This procedure is part of the Mozambican Immigration Services’ ongoing efforts to enhance border control, ensure national security, and facilitate orderly and regular tourism.
Non-compliance will be interpreted as a violation of Mozambican immigration law.
Enforce accordingly.
