Mozambique: Government suspends four public tenders for non-compliance with law - AIM
An IMF technical team is scheduled to arrive in Mozambique at the end of June, and will analyze the macro-economic impacts of public debt in Mozambique, Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosario told parliament yesterday.
“We agree to work with those institutions with a view to restoring full confidence, consolidating and improving the transparency of Mozambique’s public accounts mechanisms. It is in this context that IMF technical mission is coming to Mozambique to reassess, with the government, the macro-economic impact of the new data on public debt,” the prime minister said.
The prime minister also said that the government would collaborate with judicial bodies and other to clarifying the issue of the country’s public debt.
