On behalf of IMF Resident Representative in Mozambique, Ari Aisen, see below an IMF Press Release:
“IMF staff acknowledges the Mozambican authorities’ intention to engage in discussions with certain creditors with a view to restore Mozambique’s debt to a sustainable path, as announced yesterday by the Minister of Finance at a meeting with creditors in London. IMF staff stands ready to assist the authorities in their endeavour.”
