Hollard Mozambique emerged as the highest-ranked company in the Insurance market

Hollard Moçambique has emerged as the highest-ranked company in the insurance market in the 2024 edition of The Top 100 Companies in Mozambique, reaffirming its leadership and financial strength in the sector. This achievement highlights the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer-centric solutions in the ever-evolving insurance landscape of Mozambique.

Hollard moved up one place to 26th in 2024 from 27th the previous year, making it the most valuable insurance company in the KPMG Top 100 index.

“The position is a testament to our strategic focus on innovation, financial strength, and our unwavering commitment to our customers,” said Oscar Faria, Chief Financial Officer of Hollard Moçambique. “We are honoured to be part of the Top 100 Companies ranking and will continue driving excellence in the sector,” he added.

Hollard Moçambique led the insurance sector with an impressive turnover of MZN 5,102 million. This performance underscores Hollard’s financial robustness and its ability to outperform competitors in a highly competitive market.

The insurance sector saw the participation of thirteen companies, with eight making it to the prestigious Top 100 Companies ranking. The total turnover for the sector stood at MZN 24,976 million, with MZN 23,363 million coming from those within the Top 100.

By achieving the highest turnover in the insurance sector, the company sets a benchmark for excellence and continues to drive growth within Mozambique’s insurance industry.
