Hollard Mozambique has positively impacted the lives of over 1,000 young Mozambicans through various enabling initiatives designed to foster self-belief, creativity, entrepreneurship, and cultural growth. These programs, showcase the profound impact that supporting young talent and entrepreneurs can have on their personal development and consequently on society.
One of the most notable successes in 2024 has been the achievements of young musical talents through Projecto Xiquitsi. Endorsed and supported by Hollard Seguros, eight aspiring musicians have gained international recognition and prestigious awards for their outstanding accomplishments. Their dedication and exceptional talent have brought Mozambique’s rich artistic potential into the global spotlight.
Earlier this year , Hollard Mozambique’s continuous dedicated sponsorship of the “Colecção Crescente” Arts Initiative concluded in the 2024 edition of the Exhibition and awards ceremony, held at Galeria Kulungwana, which culminated with the annual awards presentation, where Hollard and Kulungwana had the privilege of recognizing and celebrating the remarkable achievements of inspired young artists who through the visual medium ask meaningful questions, change viewpoints, and challenge the status quo.
As Henri Mittermayer, Hollard CEO, said during the event: ‘The “Colecção Crescente” initiative motivates, inspires, and supports our developing artists. It also exposes our communities to the artworks and the visual messages expressed by our very own local youth, who on an annual basis make significant contributions to Mozambique’s art scene’.
Three winners of the Annual Futuros Melhores Award, sponsored by Hollard Seguros, were selected for their creativity, innovation, and cultural impact, as judged by a panel of local and international art experts.

Mozambique, like many other countries, faces high youth unemployment rates.
