Hermínio dos Santos dies

Former Frelimo war of liberation combatant Hermínio dos Santos died in Maputo on Friday, a victim of illness.
Hermínio dos Santos was one of, and adviser to, the war of liberation’s former combatants and demobilised soldiers. He was known for his regular protests to the government on the matter of the demobilisation pension.
In 2016, he created a political party called the Democratic Justice Party of Mozambique, the presidency of which he until his death.
