Mozambique: Alleged rebels attack village in Meluco district

”A 73-year-old man was lynched by residents of the village of Canda, Zavala district, on suspicion of providing poisoned tangerine juice and causing the deaths of two consumers.
Police in Inhambane have apprehended two of the seven alleged participants in the lynching.
Chilling and shocking images have emerged of the crime, which took place in the administrative post of Canda, Zavala district.
The train of events started with the consumption of tangerine juice, which allegedly resulted in the death of two people, for which the murdered man was held responsible.
Police work resulted in the apprehension of some of the alleged perpetrators of the crime.
Police in Inhambane says that steps are being taken on the ground in order to control public unrest and restore order.
