Mozambique: Mia Couto an optimist without hope - interview
O País
The fauna, the flora, the sea, the minerals of Mozambique. These were the themes chosen for the first Fashion Hair Mozambique held recently in Maputo
Twenty-seven models displayed the most exuberant of hairstyles in the grand hall of the Polana Hotel, themselves wearing gala dresses made of hair of various sorts.
“One of the aims of the event is to convey the most modern in hair and makeup, so that people do not get stuck with only one style,” explained Luísa Pereira, the hairdresser behind the project.
The daring and originality of the hairstyles left the audience enchanted and begging for more, and the event organisers of the event feeling obliged to produce something bigger and better next year.
“We will continue to offer more events throughout the year, until the next show arrives. At the moment, we can not reveal what exactly those will be, but they’re sure to please everyone,” Luísa Pereira said.
Fashion Hair Mozambique – whose philosophy is to combine hair health with the most creative in hair styling – is open to the general public and beauty professionals who are interested in developing their skills.
