Grindrod named the Best Company in Mozambique

Grindrod is proud to have been recognized as the Best Company in Mozambique in the XXV Edition of the prestigious survey, “The 100 Largest Companies in Mozambique” (2023), conducted by KPMG Mozambique.

Grindrod’s drybulk terminal in the Port of Maputo (Grindrod Mozambique Limitada) demonstrated exceptional performance across various parameters, securing the top position with an impressive score of 485 points, placing it in the number one position of the Best company in Mozambique for 2022. This achievement is attributed to the company’s remarkable Business Volume Growth of approximately 355%, resulting in 98 points. Additionally, Grindrod excelled in Turnover Profitability (84 points) and Equity (96 points), showcasing its robust financial standing and operational efficiency.

Pedro Alberto Poh-Quong, General Director of Grindrod Operations in Mozambique, expressed his gratitude, stating, “This recognition is the result of the commitment and dedication of the entire Grindrod team.
