Greater Maputo: Water colour change due to maintenance – AdRMM

Water consumers in the cities of Maputo and Matola, the town of Boane and adjacent areas might, from the 8th of May to the 3rd of July, see changes in the aesthetics of the water supplied there.
According to the Water Supply Company of the Metropolitan Region of Maputo(AdRMM), this situation will be due to maintenance activities in the region’s water supply infrastructure, namely washing and disinfection of the hydraulic pumps at the Umbeluze Treatment Station, and in the reservoirs of the distribution centres of Boane, Belo Horizonte, Matola Rio, Matola, Tsalala, Machava, Chamanculo, Maxaquene and Laulane in the province and city of Maputo.
