People living in the Grande Hotel in Beira are contradicting a statement by the head of the Chiveve post, and say that they have never been assigned land to leave the building.
The residents of the Grande Hotel in Beira are not pleased with the official’s statements.
The Grande Hotel in Beira has experienced all kinds of problems, from lack of sanitation, electricity and water to the extreme degradation of the building, which now physically endangers the residents.
Residents say they want to leave and live somewhere decent, and that they have submitted applications for the acquisition of land use to Beira Municipal Council.
