Mozambique Elections: Presidential candidates’ meeting lasts minutes as Mondlane absent

The Mozambican government will, as of May, have an electronic security platform to track cyberterrorists.
The Cyber Security Incident Response Centre [Centro de Resposta de Incidentes de Segurança Cibernética] will protect the websites of state institutions and other entities from attacks by ‘hackers’.
Director General of the National Institute of Electronic Government (INAGE) Ermínio Jasse, announced the roll-out on Thursday, at the launch of the State Representation Services Council website in Tete.
Ermínio Jasse said that another advantage of the new platform was the enhanced ability to identify and address disinformation likely to jeopardise national sovereignty.
The introduction of the new platform will ensure that only the entities intended will have access to restricted documents and information, Jasse added.
