The government of Inhambane has ordered the closure of the Polytechnic Institute of Health, which is says was operating in the city of Maxixe without a licence.
The permanent secretary of Inhambane province government, Ricardo Nhacoongue, said that in order to restart its activities, the educational institution must meet all statutary requirements.
The Maxixe Polytechnic Institute of Health has operated since the beginning of this year in the Wenela facilities, teaching general nursing, nutrition, maternal and child health and preventive medicine.
