The film Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise was shown yesterday night at the Carnegie Institute for Science in Washington, DC.
The film, a collaboration between director Bob Poole and scientist Paola Bouley, addresses the mystery of lion population growth in one of the largest wildlife parks in Africa.
The movie’s screening forms part of the International Festival of Environmental Cinema, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and ends on the 26th of this month.
