Gaven Sinclair swims 5 km from Mozambique Island to Coral Lodge, in Mossuril

Join us on Ilha de Mozambique pier, on the 01st December to support Gaven Sinclair, as he swims 5km’s from the island to Coral Lodge.

Coral Lodge, has invited professional adventurer, Gaven Sinclair to swim from the pier of Ilha de Mozambique across Mossuril Bay, to Coral Lodge, an estimated 5Km swim.

This is ahead of Gaven’s 300Km much anticipated 300Km swim along the coastline of Mozambique, in March 2019. This adventure enthusiast aims to take 50 days, spanned over 10 x 5Km stretches.

Gaven will depart from the Pier of Ilha de Mozambique on Saturday 01 December 2018, at approximately 8am. We encourage the public to gather in support of this courageous swim.

Gaven’s recent physical endurance adventures have included:

– A solo bike challenge from Cape to Cairo, cycling the entire length of Africa, a distance of over 10 000Km’s in just 261 days.

– Running solo across four African countries, a total of 4000Km’s.

The upcoming 300km Swim will make Gaven’s combined triathlon distances, the longest achieved in the world by one man.

To celebrate Gaven’s epic swim from Ilha de Mozambique to Coral Lodge, Coral Lodge will be hosting a seafood lunch tomorrow, 01 December, at the lodge, for guests to meet Gaven, and find out more about his remarkable career as a professional adventurer.

Gaven will be giving a 20minute motivational talk at the event, which will be a 4-course lunch, with the best of Coral Lodge cuisine being served.
