According to a decision made public, today, prices for diesel and kerosene remain at 66.92 meticais and 50.33 meticais a liter, respectively. In turn, the price of gasoline rises from 66.03 to 66.55 meticais.
Cooking gas is down 60.94 to 60.33 meticais per kilogram.
For the Mozambican Association of Petroleum, the price of a barrel in the international market and exchange rates is what dictate the current level of fuel prices in the country.
At a joint press conference, Electricity of Mozambique (EDM) also announced the actions that are being carried out to improve the quality of electricity supply in the country.
EDM also says that the growth in the number of customers makes them rethink the sources of electricity supply.
