Fuel tanker bursts into flames in Nacala city – Mozambique

A fuel tanker exploded and burst into flames yesterday in the city of Nacala-Porto, in Nampula province.
The incident occurred in the city’s neighbourhood of Ontupaia and the fire spread to several homes which were reduced to ashes.
Firefighters from the National Public Rescue Service (SENSAP), Aeroportos de Moçambique, Petromoc, the Police and local volunteers, managed to quell the flames after more than an hour of hard work.
