Diesel rises from the current 50.48 to 53.38 meticais per litre, while gasoline rises from 56.59 to 57.68 meticais .Lighting oil goes from 39.65 to 40.67 meticais per litre and compressed natural gas (GNV) rises from 26.77 to 27.77 meticais per litre equivalent.
Domestic gas (LPG) however falls from the current 50.74 to 48.91 meticais per kilogram.
The change in the price of fuels and other petroleum products arises from the government’s full application of Article 67 of Decree No. 45/2012 of 28 December, which stipulates price revision on a monthly basis whenever there is a change in the base price of more than three per cent or if there is a change in taxes.
The last price adjustment for fuels and other petroleum products came into effect on 19 July of this year.
